These amethyst geodes made the long journey from the locality to Europe together!
It is very rare to get a pair. Many geode halves break right at the discovery site,
or become separated over time. And here we have two such beautiful, very large halves!
The dark purple amethyst crystals are all of impressive size - amethyst geodes of this quality are extremely rare.
The geodes are about 75 cm wide and a remarkable approx. 175 cm high.
Together they weigh approx. 475 kg.
