Purpurite as a rough stone can be a somewhat difficult material. It must be cleaned at least with a pressure washer or, even better, with e.g. hydrochloric acid.
Only then does the color often come to light. It is also important that the stones are broken in the correct direction.
This lot is not yet processed. To obtain attractive purpurite rough stones, this material still needs to be sorted and cleaned.
Some pieces are certainly unusable as well, which is why we classify this lot here as B/C at a HEAVILY discounted price.
