Ötztal garnet - rough specimens/crystals 1 kg
The garnet is already very clearly visible beneath the schist.
The schist is so soft that it can be removed with very little effort,
making the crystals ideal for further processing.
All crystals originate from the Granatkogel in the Ötztal.
One kg contains approx. 3 - 7 specimens; the size is approx. 10 - 5 x 8 - 3 cm.
