Larimar is usually light blue with whitish tones, but it can also have a darker blue or
a turquoise-blue to greenish coloration.
Similar to turquoise, Larimar was—and still is—a very popular ornamental stone and lucky stone among the indigenous peoples of the Americas and the Dominican Republic!
