Dodecahedron
The dodecahedron (from Greek) is a solid with twelve faces. Usually, this refers to a Platonic solid,
namely the (regular) pentagonal dodecahedron. This is a solid with 12 (congruent) regular pentagons as
faces, 20 vertices where three of these pentagons meet in each, and 30 edges (of equal length), each of which
is the side of two pentagons.
The dodecahedrons offered here are approx. 1.5 - 2.5 cm in size (+/-).
The name goes back to the Greek philosopher Plato, and the designations of the individual solids describe their shape.
The different Platonic solids represent the four elements: fire, earth, air, and water, as well as the universe.
The dodecahedron stands for the world (universe) and can have a supportive effect when it comes to organizing one's own thought patterns
and bringing oneself and one's body into harmony.
