Platonic Solids Rock Crystal - Special Offer
These Platonic solids were cut by hand from pure rock crystal, each measuring approx. 1.5 - 2 cm
and are delivered in a wooden box, along with an explanatory card providing information about the individual Platonic solids.
The box contains a tetrahedron, a hexahedron, an octahedron, an icosahedron, and a dodecahedron.
The wooden box and/or the individual solids are not entirely perfect.
The name goes back to the Greek philosopher Plato, and the names of the individual solids describe their shape -
a tetrahedron consists of equilateral triangles, a hexahedron is a cube, an octahedron represents
equilateral triangles again (this time with eight faces), a dodecahedron consists of regular pentagons, and an
icosahedron represents equilateral triangles again - with 20 faces.
They represent the four elements - fire, earth, air, and water as well as the universe, and can have a supportive effect
when it comes to organizing one's own thought patterns and bringing oneself and one's body into harmony.
