Tetrahedron
These Platonic solids, tetrahedrons, were hand-cut from pure rock crystal and
each have a size of approx. 1.5 - 2 cm (+/-).
The name goes back to the Greek philosopher Plato, and the names of the individual solids describe
their shape - a tetrahedron consists of equilateral triangles, a hexahedron of a square, an
octahedron again represents equilateral triangles (but this time with eight faces), a dodecahedron consists of regular
pentagons, and an icosahedron again represents equilateral triangles - with 20 faces. The Platonic solids represent the
four elements, fire, earth, air, and water as well as the universe, and can have a supportive effect when it comes to
organizing one's own thought patterns and bringing oneself and one's body into harmony.
The tetrahedron stands for the element fire.
