Strictly speaking, these tumbled stones consist of a large number of rare minerals and rocks. The rough stones originate from the world's oldest agpaitic complex (Mesoproterozoic - approx. 1.6-1 billion years old) in Norra Kärr, Sweden.
This locality is known for its rare earths, which are in extremely high demand worldwide for the development of electronic devices.
The varied tumbled stones contain proportions of rosenbuschite, eckermannite, aegirine, biotite, nepheline, natrolite, fluoro-leakeite, magnesio-arfvedsonite, hornblende, riebeckite, and other minerals.
Approximately 65 different minerals have been documented at this locality!
