Palo Santo (Holy Wood) from Peru
Here you will receive one unit (approx. 12 - 15 pieces) of the well-known Palo Santo wood.
Palo Santo wood is mostly used as incense wood.
After lighting and fanning out the flame, the incense fragrance unfolds - simply phenomenal!
The fragrance ranges from sweet and woody to exotic, vanilla-like, and much more. It also somewhat resembles well-known frankincense.
The wood comes from the tree species "Bursera Graveolens".
The tree dies naturally after approx. 40 - 50 years, and after a longer period of lying on the ground (about 4 years),
the unique fragrance unfolds in its full glory.
It can naturally happen with a piece or unit that only very little to no fragrance
unfolds.
