Very beautiful, black natural obsidian!
Obsidian is formed when lava solidifies under very special conditions.
Its conchoidal fracture - high-gloss! is typical.
Because of this fracture, obsidian was used in the past (in the Stone Age) to make tools.
Today it is still popular for 'flintknapping'. We can also supply large pieces on request.
