These blanks were manufactured specifically for flintknapping from midnight lace obsidian (also known as band obsidian).
A slab is approx. 15 x 5.5 x 0.9-1.2 cm and has been polished on one side.
This midnight lace obsidian has particularly beautiful, striking lines and structures - yields top end products!
Flintknapping is the name given to the crafting of Stone Age tools (arrowheads, knives, etc.).
