This gemstone sphere was cut from very high-quality rose quartz.
The sphere features a beautifully distinct 'star' - and that at a size of approx. 8.2 cm (856 g).
Stars in rose quartz are very rare, which is why star spheres like this are sought after accordingly.
The star can be seen in sunlight. A beautiful unique piece.
Polished inclusions and small imperfections are present, which do not detract from its unique appearance.
The origin of the rough stone is Madagascar.

1.) A star rose quartz sphere can never be transparent, as the reflection (the star) only occurs through inclusions.
2.) If you view the spheres in weak, indirect, or no light, you will not see a star, as it only occurs
through light reflection from a direct light source. The star is best displayed in sunlight (which is
where this photo was taken - always very difficult).
