Larimar is a particularly popular gemstone from the Dominican Republic.
Larimar Rough Stones
The Larimar is mostly light blue with whitish tones, but it can also have a darker blue or
a turquoise-blue to greenish coloration - matrix rock may be present.
Similar to turquoise, Larimar was also a very popular ornamental stone, or lucky stone, among the indigenous peoples of America and the Dominican Republic - and still is today!
The pieces offered here are approx. 1.5 - 5 cm.
Occasionally, somewhat larger or smaller pieces may be included!
Origin: Dominican Republic
