Mookaite Rough Stones
Mookaite belongs to the jaspers and occurs in its typical colors only in Western Australia.
Mookaite is known and very popular for its warm earth tones such as yellow, brown, ocher, red, and violet.
Mookaite is a silicified, fine sedimentary rock. Mookaite receives its colors from these different
sediments that were originally deposited by water.
These mookaites come from the area around Gascoyne Junction (near Carnarvon) in Western Australia.
